Original Credit Transfer (OCT)
Definition
Original Credit Transfer (OCT) is a type of fund transfer that allows a sender (merchant, or platform) to credit funds directly to a cardholder’s account, through the card network rails.
Implementing OCT processing is a VISA network mandate. Xpollens is now processing them correctly.
An Original Credit Transfer is characterized by:

Rules
When an OCT is received, both the authorization balance and the accounting balance are credited.
In the API, both the cardAuthorizationDetail and cardClearingDetail sections are populated.
Note: Since the credit confirmation is also received in the clearing file, you will receive an additional webhook containing the same information, with improved reliability due to the more detailed data it includes.
