What's new: Account Funding Transaction controls

What’s new

As part of a card top-up, it is necessary to declare the identity of the person who owns the card used to fund the account. This information is then checked to:

  • ensure the payer is not listed as a fraudulent individual,
  • ensure the legitimacy of the funds.

Why is this a breaking change?

New pages are necessary to collect the payer's data, and to perform the top-up creation. These data could come from you database if the payer is your client, or should be declared by the payer during the process.

In addition, new steps is added: the payer screening. This step can create refusals.

Impact

1- New mandatory attributes are added to the endpoint POST api/v1.1/payins/cardpayments, to collect the payer's data
