What's new: rate limit on token generation
What’s new
As part of strengthening the security of our infrastructure and to prevent potential external attacks, the behavior of the token generation endpoint will soon be updated.
A rate limit will be applied to this service, restricting the number of requests per minut and per IP address to 15. This measure is intended to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our entire ecosystem.
Why is this a breaking change?
This is a breaking change because there is currently no limit on the endpoint before: POST https://connect.xpollens.com/connect/token
Impact
To manage this change, we recommend reusing existing tokens rather than generating a new one for each request.
You will face an error 429 when the limit is exceeded. If exceeded, the ban period is 1 minute.
